I can’t believe in one month we’ll be tying the knot!! I’ve been so ready for a while but it seems more real everyday. October brides, FTW! πŸ™‚

Wow – only one more month.

I had a slight nervous breakdown this weekend because I started overthinking things..but I’m much better now and starting to get excited. πŸ™‚

I haven’t done any DIY projects yet, but I think once I get a few off my plate, it’ll start to feel more like ‘MY’ wedding and not a canned one. That’s the exciting part πŸ™‚

Time is flying.

My family has three weddings this year — my nephew’s was in May and my cousin got married Saturday — which means now it’s MY turn!!!

Ahh I am sooo excited, and ready for it to be here already.  I looked at my wedding website today and it said 31 days…I know that the next month is going to fly by.  It is really slowly becoming more real, I have had my shower, we got our marriage license this past Friday, I ordered my cupcake cake, and finished writing the ceremony.  Not to much longer until I become the official “Mrs” of my ridiculously good looking best friend πŸ™‚

More importantly, next month is our honeymoon month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No I am super excited, nervous and crazed getting everything done. We just went out of town this weekend for my shower and bachelorette and came back with soooo many gifts and luggage. I need to take a whole day to just put everything away!!! Lots of DIY left to do, but the RSVPs are almost all in. yay!

O.M.G.  Where did the time go!  I’m excited and trying not to freak out all at the same time.  (It doesn’t help that I have three trips for work this month.)  Just trying to remain calm.  πŸ™‚

@Adalita:  ugh, us either.  I found one on etsy but they wanted a small fortune for it and they couldn’t get it to me any sooner than the 4th of October.  Stupid cake stand, whyyyy.  =( I didn’t get it because A- it cost a small fortune & B – what if it got caught in customs?!?!  I’d die.  x_x

@SuperDuperBrit:  What kind are you looking for? Is it something you could DIY? My Future Father-In-Law is actually building our cake stand which I’m super excited about because we could not find anything we liked!

@MrsFeatherbottom:  We could easily make our cake stand if my Fiance managed to stay in VA long enough to complete it, lol.  They keep sending him on business which is cool but kinda stresses me out right now >.<; since things are getting close.  I wanted something wooden.  Originally I wanted one of those tree stump ones.  We looked into DIYing that but that doesn’t look like it will work out.  And we don’t have enough time now to buy one.  We could make a stand out of wood but I dunno.  I don’t think it’s going to happen now.  lol

Honestly, I’d even go for something like this:

http://www.save-on-crafts.com/cakedisplay.html

Which would be super beyond easy to DIY.  Maybe my Future Father-In-Law can DIY it for me.  I know he’d make it food safe and sturdy all that jazz.  My dad likes to rush through things, lol.
