FI’s family owns an Italian Bakery & Deli and they have generously making Italian Wedding Cookies for our favors.  Not very fallish of us, but we aren’t ones to turn down delicious cookies.  By The Way I really like the maple syrup bottles.

I think that we’ve settled on hot chocolate and marshmellows!

@KateByDesign:  my favorite warm beverage!  did you consider mulling spices for apple cider or spiced wine?  that was one of the things we tossed around before we decided on the cookies.

Favors have been difficult for me. Right now I have 2 options but I’m still not settled on either.

1. Chocolate covered licorice, and they have a certain look to them, they aren’t just a stick of licorice covered in chocolate. They’re fancier. I don’t have a picture either 🙁

2. Tea. Although, I’m not sure how to go about it.

and I want to incorporate these little boxes with the favors, but I haven’t figured out how yet.

I’m really indecisive on the whole favor thing!

@mshoagie: Oh! I love the Cider idea!

I am having a hard time deciding! Maybe little bags of chocolate covered gummi bears(our fave) or kettlekorn…

We are also considering a photobooth!

I’m not doing favors.  However, we’re planning on getting a photobooth so I guess that can be considered a favor.

We are doing personalized lollipops I found on orientaltrading.com

It’s only $10 for 24 lollipops and they are

assorted fruit flavors.

My fiance’s best friend and future groomsman passed away recently from cystic fibrosis so our favors will be a donation in honor of him to the CF foundation…

I am also thinking of doing decorated sugar cookies of our two dogs (a puggle and pomeranian) as we met at the dog park!  Not sure though, I have to price it out.

Is anyone doing decorated cookies?

i’m doing tulip bulbs since it’s the time to plant them. They are my favorite flower and they are not in season, and i figure if i have any leftover than i can plant in the flower bed. they will be packaged prettily with planting insturction and a label that says “watch our love grow”

I think we’re doing a candy table.  I’m not sure if that’s all we’ll do but that’s all we have right now. 🙂

We’re having a fall themed wedding so we’ll be giving each guest an orchard mini apple pie. They’re about 6 inches in diameter and will come packaged in individual white boxes. We’ll dress up the boxes with ribbon and a favor tag.

Ours will basically be exactly like this except without the monogram.

We are having pumpkin whoopie pies 🙂 The place we are ordering them from packages them with ribbon and customized stickers.

@mshoagie: my grandmother and great-aunt are making Italian wedding cookies for us!  I am Italian and so we knew we’d have tons of cookies, so I decided just to have them do double duty as favors, also.  I think it will be a cute idea =)
