Our wedding is a simple black & white night time at the ocean so we went with simple red roses. My girls will have 2 long stem roses (to symbolize the 2 of us). I’m doing 1/2 dozen long stem roses too. Opted for 1/2 dozen so it wasn’t too heavy. There will be some green leaves, babys breath & white lace in them too. The centerpieces are low with red roses and some beach looking grass.

My bridal bouquet/toss bouquet is made of silk Ivory colored Dahlias, peonies, hydrangeas, and deep purple hydrangeas. The BM’s are yellow/orange/dark purple of the same flowers. The Groom/Groomsmen will have bouts made with hydrangeas/mini cattails like this: http://shop.hobbylobby.com/store/item.aspx?ItemId=150349

Those bouts are freakin’ fantastic. I NEVER would have thought of something like that. It’s going to look fabulous. Be sure to post pictures. I’d love to see the finished product.
Very nice! So many unique un-fall-y ideas! Silk too, that’s smart. If I hadn’t already put down a deposit with the florist I think I’d be going that route too.
I met with my florist yesterday and I’m super excited for my bouquet. It’s going to be white dahlias, picasso calla lilies, and magenta orchids. My girls will be carrying a simple bouqet of lilac alstromelia
wrapped in gold, with a few small leaves sticking out here and there. Super excited to see it all together!

My bouquet is slightly avant garde, but our centerpieces are pretty traditional. My bouquet will have clusters of dark purple cala lillies, white garden roses, and white rununculas with black and white feathers jutting out in an asymmetric curve that mirrors the asymmetric neckline of my dress. This is my inspiration:
My centerpieces will be all white flowers, and white pillar, tea, and floating candles running down the length of the feasting table on a runner of mirrors.
This is the overall look that we are going for, but with more diversity in flower texture:
These are the flowers:

@cherrycoke: gorgeous!! I really like this bouquet, and I’ve yet to visit the florist! Thinking I may do these bright colors, so beautiful

You have great style! I love your flowers/centerpieces…

Our colors are peacock. So blues, teals, browns, golds. My sister is a florist and doing my flowers. I chose to incorporate blue orchids and green orchids. She actually made this boquet for a bridal show a couple years ago and I love it.

Lots of yellows and whites.

Green and white. Even though I haven’t even THOUGHT about what kind yet. I’m way behind.
