@jillieb: Jealous!! I’m in Maine.  100 degrees is not usually a problem here.

I have a cardigan I plan on wearing after the ceremony and formal pictures and after we leave the reception.

Not sure yet. October is a tricky month with the weather. We had our E-pics taken on the exact day of our wedding last year. It was low 60’s (I’m from PA), sunny and chilly. I may just wear a ivory or cream colored cardigan, don’t want to spend more money on something I may not even wear.

for the ceremony, i think you should go without. with the long veil it will probably feel like too much fabric going on. i tried a bolero with a cathedral length veil and dress and we were all just like no. this isn’t working lol. my ceremony’s in church so i thought i would use one for modesty’s sake, but meh – probably not if i do a long veil! for the reception though i’ll probably get a cute cardigan as a standby

I wore a cardigan. Our outdoor wedding was up in Northern New Hampshire and I think the high temp for the day was high 40’s….maaaaybe 50. I was so glad I had it and I received a bunch of compliments! 🙂

I have a shrug to match my jacket!  I’m going to be purchasing pashminas for the girls!  SO I’ll probably pick one up for myself 🙂
