While each component of your meal sounds really yummy, all together it appears like a really sweet meal! Apple cinnamon chicken, sweet potatoes, honey glazed carrots are all sugary/sweet and I would try to have a more savory side dish.

I agree with above… if you’re doing sweet sides maybe a not-so-sweet main course? Of course I’m biased bc I really really dislike sweet entrees…. 🙂

Most people eat the same types of foods year round. For a beef option, is steak of some kind an option? Beef burgundy, beef stew, beef fajitas, etc. Really, your options are endless. Browse online catering menus or your favorite cookbooks and see what you love (and that your guests will eat) in those categories.

I don’t think your menu is sugar overload at all. If someone doesn’t like the combination, they don’t have to eat it.
