anev :  hopefully the end of October, otherwise it will jump to the end of November. Probably a fresh transfer as it will be our first try

anev :  a fresh transfer can happen on any protocol.  my first round of IVF was the lupron trigger anatogonist protocol.  it was suppose to be a fresh transfer.  but my bloodwork the day before transfer showed my progesterone levels too high and they said it was not a condusive environment for implantation so it became a freeze all.  my 2nd round was the luteal phase lupron protocol to prevent what happened the first round.  we were able to do a fresh transfer that resulted in my first child.

good luck in your cycling!

We hopefully will be. Right now, must waiting for my betas to clear after a miscarriage from my first FET (they are taking ridiculously long to drop).

We still have some frozen embryos (3), but we are planning on doing another IVF cycle and freezing all so we can do pgs testing in case chromosomal issues caused the miscarriage last time.

Fingers crossed it works out! I have a big work trip at the end of October, so I’m worried about scheduling right now.

LadyBear :  I am so sorry to hear about your loss! I was so hoping all would work out! I know I pm last month after your 1st us. I  had a miscarrage for my 1st embryo transfer as well..I was almost 8 weeks and my hcg levels took a very long time to drop to 0! I’m talking from beginning of September until late November! So I can understand what you are going through. Hope yours dont take that long! My second one stuck and I had my rainbow baby. Sending good thoughts and vibes that you will have your rainbow baby too soon! I wish you the best of luck!

I just found out – the embryo tested normal!!

Diagnosis: Secondary infertility due to age (41.75)/low ovarian reserve (.853)

Amount of Time TTC: 1 year before we saw the RE. Had our first child at 39, then tried for a year. Had 2 chemical pregnancies during that time.

Baby #:  2

IVF Protocol: Long down protocol, I think. My RE’s office isn’t that great at communicating details so that is what I gathered from my list of medications and the internet. Took birth control, added Lupron, stopped birth control, got my period, had an ultrasound and got the all clear to start stims, took Menopur and Zomacton, triggered with Pregnyl and Menopur.

ER Date: It was 9/18/19.

Number of Embryos (and pgs results if applicable): Got 5 eggs from 5 follicles, 2 fertilized, one made it to blast. PGS Normal!!! I literally just found out and am super stoked.

Transfer Protocol:  TBD

Transfer Date: TBD

Beta Date:

Additional Info (if applicable – acupuncture, vitamins, old wives tails you plan to do, etc): I went to weekly acupuncture once I started my protocol. Just took low dose aspirin and prenatal vitamins.
