anev :  It really does sound like your lining could be the issue. I really really hope the estrace works!

I am starting monitoring tomorrow – my period is very off on and on, maybe it’s started, maybe it hasn’t so I am going in and they can figure it out, haha!

Sooo,it was a BFN.And we also have no frozen embryos.

As soon as I get my period I have to call them to redo all my bloodwork and go over what we can do differently.

Since I really think our infertility is gut health related, from this next Monday I will go no sugar and no gluten,to see how my body reacts.I will also give up dairy if necessary, but I read that it’s also good for eggs quality,so I would rather not.

I also need to take out one tooth,as I’ve waited forever to do it since I hate the dentist, and it may be causing inflamation.

We’ll see how next round goes.

Comealongpond :  So sorry it was negative. It can’t hurt to try a less inflammatory diet – I hope that is your answer.

I started stims a few days ago and so far they’re a breeze. Hopefully they continue to be okay! I go in for another scan on sunday so I’m excited to see how much my follies have grown.

Hi everyone! I wanted to do a quick update. I had my lining check on Friday and it was 13mm, they said they like to see above 8 so I’m good to go! I start PIO tomorrow.

I have no clue how to tag people in posts to reply- but anev I’m super hopeful that upping your meds will help with your lining! How far back did they push back your transfer?

Comealongpond, so sorry about your BFN. 🙁 I’ve actually done a lot of research about anti-inflammatory diets and fertility and there does seen to be a big link.

I hope you all don’t mind me stopping in to say hi. I feel like a lot has happened in a very short amount of time (after waiting a very LONG time for something to happen). One week ago today, we met with our RE to discuss the option of using donor sperm. Since then, we’ve search at about 15 cryobanks, found 1 donor that fit everything we were looking for, and made our purchase today. Now I am just waiting for AF to arrive so we get started with our first round of IVF! It usually comes like clockwork so around December 2, which isn’t too far away at all. In the meantime, I’ve been reading through this thread and learning a lot. Wishing you all the best!

anev :  Thank you! I am glad too, and very proud of him for really opening up and being so good about acknowledging and working through his feelings. I think the grief of what could never be will always be there, and being donor conceived will always be a part of our future children’s identity and we fully plan to embrace that. But I’ve never felt that our marriage was more solid than it is now. I know that we can get through anything after getting through this, and that any babies that come after our struggle will be so loved and appreciated.
