OMG, I missed so much in such a short amount of time… I can’t keep up with you guys! LOL!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone for all your wonderful well-wishes on my BFP! I still can’t believe my name is on the list without being a rollover… AHHHH! Now I’m sending boat loads of ****baby dust**** to all you other lovely ladies who are awaiting those beautiful double lines to appear! All my crossables are crossed, as well!

So. I got my BFP yesterday *sheepish grin*. Honestly I was testing because I assumed it was too early to tell anything and I could feel myself getting too excited and I was hoping it would bring me down a peg or two.

I am excited, but also very cautious. My last pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 11 weeks, so I’m trying to balance the worry with the joy. I had my HCG and progesterone tested today, should get the results back tomorrow.

FX for everyone testing in the coming days!!

hey ladies! I was on the last Charters of the Hive post but totally spaced out; work got crazy busy and then AF finally showed up. anyway, I’m back for October POAS, tentatively. I really appreciate the helpful feedback y’all gave me there! My last cycle ended up being 37 days (first real cycle off the pill), so I’m trying a few new things this month.

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD15

Ovulation Date: waiting for crosshairs…got a positive OPK on Sunday morning and temps are still rising

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: not sure yet…last (first) cycle was 37 days so TBD

Cycles Trying: 2

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): trying Mucinex, Evening Primose Oil, and SMEP. I definitely noticed some EWCM so that may have been the Mucinex? I’m trying to be better about tracking CM too, so hopefully that makes things clearer.

Link to Chart, if anyhttp://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ebd2425 (CD12 I woke up pretty hungover so I am so tempted to discard that temp!)

What are your favorite things about Fall? Any fun plans for Halloween? sleeping with the windows open, cold-weather clothes!

@BRbee: congratulations! sending good thoughts to you…

Hi ladies! πŸ™‚

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 22

Ovulation Date: This is my first cycle off BC (after 11 years) and I am new to all of this, so not totally sure! According to the BabyCenter calculator, it was around 9/30-10/5. We will see if that is right!

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: My cycles were exactly 28 days on BC every time, like clockwork. See my question at the end of this post for when I hope to POAS!

Cycles Trying: This is our first one, and I wouldn’t even say we officially tried, lol. I only found out later that we did BD a lot during the period I was supposedly ovulating, so good on us if that was true!

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): I am trying to adjust to life off BC first (WOW the cramps!). If I don’t get a BFP this month, I think I will probably just take it easy for the next two cycles, BDing whenever we feel like it, and if I still don’t have a BFP by then, I will probably get a little more deliberate. Trying to fly casual! πŸ™‚

Link to Chart, if any: No chart right now!

and for fun –

What are your favorite things about Fall? Any fun plans for Halloween?

I love the crisp weather because it reminds me of Ohio (our home state we hope desperately to return to some day). No Halloween plans, but I enjoy all the media and store displays for it!

And now I have a question! As mentioned above, this is my first cycle off BC. If I still have 28 day cycles as I did while on it, AF is supposed to arrive this Thursday, 10/17. If she doesn’t, should I test that day? Or since this is my first cycle off BC, should I give it a while before testing? Congrats to all the BFPs so far!!!

I am at 4DPO, I think, and I can’t believe I still have to wait until next week. Ack!

I’m keeping busy though, lots of gardening, sewing and baking to fill my hours when I’m not working. It’s stressful this week because DH is working long hours and has play practice/performance nearly every evening, so I don’t get to see him. He’s really tired when he gets home and gets to bed, so I think we’re out of BD for this cycle. Hopefully the timing worked out and we’re fine. In related news, I’m really annoyed that I can’t buy wandflos from amazon.com. They won’t deliver to NZ. But apparently NZ Post has a new system in place for ordering things online that won’t deliver outside the US. I should look into that.

@brighteyedgirl:  Thanks for the baby dust πŸ™‚ Here’s to the rest of the October bees! Come on the BFPs!

As for me, my cycle is all sorts of crazy this month.

I had a fever and flu-like illness at the beginning of my cycle, then kept forgetting to hold my pee long enough for the OPKs, etc. I have no idea if I am ovulating around now, if I already did way earlier, or if I still have yet to ovulate- if I am even ovulating this cycle at all. Frustrating. In other news, I have become obsessed with maternity wear this week, eg planning cute maternity outfits for a bump! Sigh. I need to focus on something else! Hope everyone else is hanging in there!

@salmonofmarriage:  It is never too early to plan your maternity style. You want to be fashionable mommy to be, right? Sorry about the troubles this month. Hope you get things figured out soon (and are feeling better).

@CocoLoco523:  Thanks for starting a new thread, you are awesome!

I truly believe i O’d today. Opk is unbelieveably negative at this point with hardly a hint of a second line. Been cramping for over 24 hours and CM is showing all signs of O. I am hoping tomorrow I get the telltale temperature spike that you ladies talk about, that would make things nice and easy. πŸ˜‰

@BRbee:  congrats mama!! So excited!!

AFM I um poas this morning… BFN obviously haha I am only 7 DPO if my O was real.  Not sure why I torture myself.  Not testing again until friday no matter what!  If this cycle isn’t it, even though I hope it is(positive thinking is what I am trying to work on) I am thinking about going to the drs. for my rediculously irregular and long cycles.  Hope they don’t turn me away for not trying long enough.
