@Mrs.Sunflower:  yay! FF is telling me to not test until 10/20. Pft. what do they know?! I’m back in for the 14th, as I’m appoarently 3 dpo now. I’m not sure I entirely believe it though. We’ll see what tomorrow’s temp does.

@anotherbee:  FF didn’t tell me to test until 2-3 days after I got my BFP. I say anytime around 10DPO is fine. Good luck!!!

@MrsDW:  Oh, you should definitely try to go.  We just came back from our honeymoon in Costa Rica the night before last.  We didn’t go to Poas, but we went to Arenal and also down to the Caribbean coast, Cahuita.  We drove, too.  Those drives take longer than you expect because of the roads which are narrow and exceptionally windy and mountainous, so you have to go slowly.  But it was fun!  And Costa Rica is a beautiful, jungle-y, country.

@anotherbee:  I don’t understand FF’s test dates.  They must be based on your LP, right?  As opposed to how many dpo you are.  FF is telling me to test on the 9th, based on it thinking I o’d Sept. 28th, so 11 days later.  I guess since my longest LP has 11 days, that’s what it’s doing.  I think it’s wrong about O date, but we’ll see what my period says about it.

@anotherbee:  YAY for crosshairs!!!!!!!!

I’m out, officially. Tested again this morning with FMU with FRER, stark-white-negative. Today I would be 14DPO if I used the very latest of 3 possible O-dates this cycle. Also, my temp dropped again by quite a bit. Now where the eff is AF?!?!? Come ON you b!tch!!! Let’s DO this!!!!!!!!

@anotherbee:  said what I was going to. I wake up a few times a night, and I usually have to get up once to pee. First cycle I temped every time I woke up, then had to adjust the temps after CHOOSING which temp to actually use on my chart. I was ALL OVER THE MAP. This last cycle I decided I would ONLY temp at 6:30am, right before getting out of bed. My temps stabilized and became much easier to interpret. I think this depends though….maybe start a separate chart, and use one chart for your random-time temps, and one for your one-time temps, and see what happens? It might be dependant on the individual to see which way works best?

@Blondee:  Definitely get busy! If you’ve only done one, you could be catching your surge on it’s up-swing or it’s down-swing, you won’t be able to confirm it until you do a couple more OPK’s, but I’d be pouncing all over my chunk o’ hunk if I were YOU!

@LuluH:  You read my mind! Wishing ChuckNorris all the luck in the world today at the DR’s! Hope you get some good results honey!

@MrsPuddingface:  FYI – I looked at your chart. What if your’e only 12 dpo? you have a rise then fall that I wouldn’t call a fall back, so what if you are at 12 dpo…..and your temp is still pretty high.

(sorry…trying to be optimistic.) No one is officially out until AF shows. ๐Ÿ˜›

@anotherbee:  If it wasn’t for my big temp drop I’d say maybe you’re right and I’d test again in a couple of days. At this point though, I’m done with hoping and just ready to start over from scratch. This cycle was a gigantic pain in my @ss. It’s been all valleys and peaks since I got 3 days of positive OPK’s really early-on (that led to no O), and then I spent the rest of it holding my breath, letting go, then holding my breath waiting to O – then finally seeing my temps come up, just to realize I didn’t even know what date I O-d. I just want to wash it all away and be done with it. I feel like the biggest @sshole for being upset and disappointed too – OH BOOHOO I didn’t get my BFP on my second cycle EVER trying!! It’s all good. I can roll with it – but my CD1 would go a long way towards helping ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for trying to cheer me up though – I DO appreciate the sentiment! I’ll just have to relax and stop worrying about it so much, and focus on cheering all you lovelies on from the sidelines. I think I’m a better coach than a player anyway ๐Ÿ™‚

@anotherbee:  ill try a clock again. I usually hate that the light keeps me awake.

@Mrs.Sunflower:  haha I did almost the exact same thing the other day! I shoved the opk in hubby’s face, busted out the chart on my phone and said “im o’ing! Get back in bed!” He loved it! And surprisingly no anxiety to finish (which i feared) he did everything perfect. Lol

@CuriousOne:  We are torn in flying into San Jose or Liberia. Our trip says to fly into Liberia… But it’s SO much more expensive. We are seeing the west cost so it makes more sense. We’ll see.

@MrsPuddingface:  when you settled on a time to temp… Was that the time you got up to go pee? Or did you climb back in bed and sleep some more then test? I’m torn… It’s not a consistent time that I wake up from tossing/turning/alarm clock checking.

@MrsDW:  Aw I’m so glad! When DH and I started trying, he did have anxiety and couldn’t for the life of him finish. I just had to tell him that we were TRYING, not that it had to be this month or the next. Now he’s all good haha

@anotherbee: , take at your usual time every morning and make a note. I don’t think there is a win-win situation here, and it can probably vary from person to person but my temps seem more normal when I temp at the same time each morning.

@Blondee:  I am just starting OPK’s today as well! There seems to bo so much confusion with them, not sure if it is a good or bad idea! ๐Ÿ™‚ I have read that some people can get EWCM for days before they O, and others maybe only hours. I would think you are Oing for sure soon. I have also read that your CM should be your pfirst indication of Oing.

@MrsDW:  My wake-up times were never consistent either. I find that even if I wake up at 4am, go pee, get back in bed and either fall back asleep or lie there resting with my eyes closed, my temp doesn’t change much. I find I also sleep better now than I did when I first started because I’ve taken the more relaxed approach to it.
