My invites are going out the last week of July with a September 5th RSVP deadline.  It’s a month before the wedding, but I want time to track down people and to get an exact number to our cake person (I’d love to not have to buy an extra sheet cake, if possible).

We sent out our invites a few weeks ago and we’ve gotten about 30 people out of our 200 person guest list that has RSVP’d…I’m shocked nobody has declined yet to be honest, because 1) it’s in October, and I have quite a few cousins still in school 2) it’s going to be a hike for about half of our guests. I guess we will have to wait and see!

We’re sending ours out on August 10 with RSVP date on Sept 7th…caterer wants a month notice of head count, but they are flexible. I figure by Sept 7th, we’ll have a good idea who will be there.

My daughter’s went out last weekend (Saturday) and we got our first batch of 5 RSVP back on the Tuesday !!!!!

Mail everyday has bought RSVP’s to our letterbox, so in total we have had 26 RSVP’s in just over a week.  (all acceptances, except my daughter’s late grandmother’s best friend who is 94) and said that she wouldn’t be able to handle all the “excitement” of seeing half naked men lol !!!! (My daughter is marrying a Samoan, and will be alot of traditional dances)

We sent our invites out July 2nd. Weve gotten about 25-30 responses back. Our deadline is August 15th (so another month to go). Our venue needs to know final numbers one month before our wedding so hopefully we dont have to chase too many people down.

We invited about 190 people and we were hoping to have around 150….so far noone has rsvp’ed “no” which worries me…i think we hyped up the wedding too much! ahhh

We’re sending ours out on Friday or Saturday this week 🙂 Yay it’s getting so close now!

We are hoping for 48 exact, maybe give or take a 1-2. It will be hard but I don’t have much leeway to go over or under.

We have 57 on the list, out of which I am positive that 5 of those aren’t going to make it but we are sending them an invite regardless. That leaves us with 4 too many, so we have two invites (4 people) on the ‘B list’, which we won’t be sending out unless we get some unexpected declines.

So for our first round we are inviting 53 and expecting 48. Since it is a small wedding, we are expecting pretty much everyone other then the 5 mentioned previously to RSVP as yes.

Our RSVP date is September 6th. I will be sure to update when we start receiving RSVPs 🙂

We sent ours Yesterday and got our first No that same day. Here’s my story:

I get back to my desk at work from submitting the invites, and there are frantic messages from Fiance about not sending the invites. I call him back and he tells me a friend of his from Bankok just emailed him saying he can’t come, so not to waste the postage or invite. Then he asks me to work my majoc and get access to the locked post box! Hahaha so I sweet talk the clerk and dig through piles of mail until I find it. Hilarious!

Anyway, I like to receive no’s because I want us to stay under 100 and right now we are over if everyone says yes.
