I collect Barbies. Though haven’t added many in the passed few years due to the changes they made to Barbie’s face.

@vorpalette:  I knew I liked you for some reason other than your witty posts! ๐Ÿ˜€

Fiance and I love Ren Faires, videogaming (Diablo 3, Assassin’s Creed, and Red Dead Redemption were favorites of mine), and we attend the occasional convention like Dragon*Con, but by far my weirdest hobby is what I call “Found.” (I started after reading Found Magazine)

I keep a scrapbook of things that I find discarded by strangers – mostly notes, lists, handwritten posters, things like that. Almost all of them are funny. I even have a broken thread bracelet I found draped over a bush on a busy street. It’s fun to flip through the book and re-read the notes and little bits of people’s lives. And it’s how Fiance proposed to me, too!! He planted “notes.”

I like to do hand embroidery (needlework). I have even entered my work into some local shows, and had one of my designs published in a magazine. Fun!

Oh, and also I collect Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls. This is one of mine:

(Ok, the colors really sucked the first time I posted that, so let’s try again:)

For some reason the colors aren’t behaving too well on here, so I guess you can see my flickr album at http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/

@Ibblet:  Magic, Munchkin (does that count? lol), D&D…I think that’s it? Our group hasn’t played in a loooong time, though.

@Luayne:  Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ My husband loves them, especially since the light on the loupe works lol

@Ibblet:  We were just talking about pathfinder!  All I need to hear is more feats and my sneak attack working on constructs….I’m so in.  I’ll definitely post a tutorial when I make my goggles, but it does require a drill, pliers and screwdrivers lol.  Since I was able to salvage most of the items, I think the total cost came out to $10 (I purchased the loupes from amazon).

@Minnow:  Haha <3 My favorite game is STILL Super Mario Bros. 3. Right now we’re playing Resistance 3 and Lego Star Wars, and Fiance bought me Skyrim (I know the game is 2 years old lmao) on Steam sale and it’s been pretty rocking. I CAN RIDE DRAGONSSSSSS.

@vorpalette:  Going to the Michigan Renfest? We were planning on it but decided to wait until next year due to wedding costs.

@vorpalette:  I will admit only with shame that my favorite games are still Spyro and Spyro 2 (Ripto’s Rage.) I knnnoooooowwwww, I know, they’re like…kid’s games. But so well made! I can still play Spyro with my eyes closed.

I tried Skyrim at a friend’s house once, but I couldn’t figure out how to get it out of first-person (and I hate first person.) I’d like to try it again though, because I want to like it so much! I just don’t like feeling like I’m too “close” to my character during fight scenes – I hate it when things sneak up on me ๐Ÿ˜€

I don’t think it’s odd, but I feed horses as a hobby.  I don’t ride these horses because they’re being trained for competitions,  but on Saturdays and Sundays I feed/water/pet constantly and give vitamins or supplements to 26 Tennessee Walking Horses.  It’s actually a hobby and a workout all in one,  since the feed is heavy and slinging hay around isn’t exactly the easiest thing in the world!

@Luayne:  Unfortunately, that’s about 4 hours away and just too expensive. We’d have to get a hotel and make a weekend of it. Maybe one day, but not now. We didn’t go to any faires this year, actually, because of the wedding.

@Minnow:  I hate first person, too! You just have to scroll backwards (if you’re playing on PC) to get into shoulder mode. I hate it when things sneak up on me, too lol.
