I had once sewn intil my dress, not cups but an actual bra. This way I still had the support but didn’t have to worry about adjusting my bra or have it showing in the back.

I asked about this when I picked out my dress and they suggested that instead of a bra they could sew cups into the dress.  I think that’s what I’m going to do so that I’m not dealing with a bra but not feeling bare either.

I really don’t need one either but I just feel more secure with one in my dress.  I plan on wearing a corset-type bra with my strapless dress which also has a built-in corset.  I guess I like the feeling of being sucked in and lifted.

But the bridal salon offered to sew cups in as well if I wanted.

@lisa105: LISTEN TO YOURSELF WOMAN! “I think it looks fine without one and its certainly more comfortable” end of search. nothing better than going braless, and if the dress holds you in, i say go for it!! i’m jealous. I’ll be wearing a waist cinching bustier that is anything but comfortable but ver necessary. lol.

I didn’t and I am 34ddd… my dress was a prefect fit to my body, and (hahaha) I would not have been able to breathe if I had a bra on…

@MsBlueberryBee:Where did your seamstress order your bra from? I’m a Dirty Delete too and it is damn hard trying to find a good strapless!

@brookeb269:I honestly have no clue! I just keep the bra with the dress which is at her shop! But I’m going back there next week so i’ll let you know! It’s seriously the best one I have ever tried on for under a dress like a wedding dress.

I am a Dirty Delete cup and not as perky as my younger days.  I also needed a little cinching, so a longline for me.  If you don’t need one, you don’t need one, but make sure there are no issues with chilly weather, if you know what I mean.

A note on cups–if the bodice on your dress isn’t REALLY opaque, these sometimes show through in the pictures.  Make sure you test that before you have them put in.

I’m not but my seamstress sewed bra cups into my dress.  Because the material is so structured and thick it looked too flat without them.  So the purposes was solely cosmetic not the fit lol

I am wearing a corset … but I’m also a 36G. A friend of mine was a D cup and she went braless and no one could tell.
