Hey all! Where is a good place to purchase an OEC diamond? I see them in Moissy all the time, but I can’t seem to find a reputable place to look for them in diamonds. Any suggestions?
And pics of course. 🙂 Show me those yummy OEC’s!

ArmyWifey8.23: the problem is that they aren’t cut much anymore so you kinda need to get an antique ring to find them

ArmyWifey8.23: Unfortunately diamonds are not cut that way anymore. You will need to find an heirloom stone. There are numerous web sites, I have no idea which ones might be reputable.
Why diamonds are not cut this way anymore is beyond me. I have an heirloom old mine cut diamond and I far prefer it.

Diamonds actually are still being cut as OECs, but you’re going to pay a high premium for it.

Good Old Gold cuts “August Vintage” rounds that are OECs. Otherwise I would look at Jewels by Erica Grace, Old World Diamonds, and if you’re careful, sometimes you can find nice things on eBay.

cmbr: Thank you! Those sites have been helpful, I didn’t think to look at those. Well I tried Ebay, but I’m just so hesitant to go that route. I don’t know that I know enough to make an informed decision on something like a diamond from ebay.

DEFINITELY Good Old Gold. Ask for Sarah, she’s a doll.
