If you usually use condoms AND he pulls out, I would say it’s probably unlikely that you’re pregnant, but the only way to know for sure is to take a test. Why not just take one? Why does it have to warrant it? If it’s because they’re expensive, you can get them cheap on Amazon.

sarahjc9588 :  It sounds like you would be pretty okay… Since you were mostly “safe,” I think you should wait a week to test if your nerves can handle it.  If you’re anxious now, just test. They sell cheap ones at the dollar store.

So you had a 31 day cycle, followed by a 25 day cycle, and now you’re on day 33. I would test now. Walmart sells pregnancy tests for 88 cents. However, despite having two consecutive cycles where you ovulated more or less when expected, doesn’t mean you couldn’t have ovulated later in this cycle. Since you’ve been either pulling out or using condoms, I would expect your ovulation was delayed and that’s why you haven’t gotten your period yet.

Also, if you are pregnant, you’re less than 5 weeks pregnant (using date of last period) and I wouldn’t expect you to have any symptoms. But a test will let you know for sure.

sarahjc9588 :  You can still get pregnant from pulling out so keep that in mind its a small possibility but rare. i would just take a test I think first response can detect 5 days before you’re missed period or something like that. I would wait another day or 2 and if you haven’t gotten it I would buy a test. Good luck bee! I hope everything goes back to normal soon!

sarahjc9588 :  I had the nexplanon implant taken out, and for 6 months my cycles were wonky. 28 days, then 39 days, then 32 days, then 40 days, then 29 days….Every long cycle I was convinced I was pregnant (we were using condoms, but waiting until now to TTC) and every short cycle was a surprise. Now, here I am, 1 year out from removal, and I am finally pretty regular, 29-31 day cycles.

Just take a test. Use first morning urine. It will put you at ease.

My first two cycles off nuvaring were normal, and then 3rd was 40 days. You might not be as regular as you think.

Just want to say that just because you’ve had 3 relatively normal cycles in a row doesn’t mean that they will be like this all the time going forward. Once I finally got my period back after my son was born (5 months pp) it was like clockwork for 3 cycles. Then, on the 4th cycle, it was 6 whole days later than usual. I FREAKED OUT! I was definitely not ready to have another baby. But I just ovulated later than normal. Happens to everyone from time to time.

That said, there’s no harm in taking a test.

sarahjc9588 :  It’s possible that you are pregnant. But it’s also possible it’s the hormones.

I recently went off the pill in January and my period was a few days late. I figured it was the hormones and it was. But everybody’s body works differently.

It’s doubtful you’re pregnant. Buy a cheapy dollar store pregnancy test for $1. They’re pretty accurate and you won’t have to wait a few more days for piece of mind.

I tested about 6 days after my late period.  I didnt think much of being late as I had also recently gotten off BC.  But the whole week I wait for my period, I had some cramps and then my boobs got sore (they never do regularly).  At first I thought my period was coming but around day 5 i realized I might be pregnant.  I took a test then…it was positive.
