So I am finally starting to piece together my upcoming wedding in october lol
The two choice flowers I want ranunculus or peonies. Does anyone know of a good online retailer that makes beautiful bouquets? Both these flowers are wayyy out of season for October but that’s the only ones I want and since we are not having flowers in our wedding I can spend the money on my bouquet.

peonies and ranunculus are so pretty, so i understand why they’re your top choices! unfortunately, i think peonies are expensive to begin with, and much more expensive during the off-season. i looked on fiftyflowers.com (a popular and well-reputed wholsesale flower website that many brides use for DIY flowers) to see how much they charge in bulk, and it’s about $600 for 100. i haven’t looked to see if you can find a place that will sell you less, but it seems like it will still cost $100-200 just for the flowers, not for the labor that goes into making a bouquet. i’m sorry i can’t be of more help on this one!
some other options are making your own bouquet from silk peonies, like mrs. labrador, or finding a substitute flower, like cabbage or garden roses, which are beautiful.

wow 600!! that’s nuts! I could get a plan ticket and fly out to CA or something to get them lol! I should look into silk flowers too. All my center pieces are pumpkins so that’s cheap lol Thanks for the tip!!

I got married on October 10, 2009, and my florist told me the only flowers that were off limits were peonies. I think they’re extremely difficult/expensive to get in October 🙁
