So I have a $2,500 budget for my dress. Of course, the dress that I am going to buy (Enzoani Fawn) is right at this limit.
While it is technically within the budget, I suppose there is no harm in trying to get it for a cheaper price.
I have been looking everywhere for a pre owned one, without success. I suppose it will be pretty hard since it is a dress from the 2011 collection.
So I was thinking about buying off the rack, but how does this work? Do they only sell older collections off the rack? Did anyone here have success buying a very recent dress like that? My boutique said they did not do it for this dress but silly me I did not ask for the reason…

A local boutique was having a 25-50% off sale but it was off the rack. It was definitely older styles and typically samples that had been tried on in store. I don’t think you’ll get a 2011 dress off the rack

You wont get a current dress off the rack anywhere. They only sell off the rack when the line has been canceled or isn’t popular.

I just bought a dress off the rack, but I didn’t even ask if the style was last years model or anything. I don’t care about designer, model, year etc, so and it saved me 50% of the cost of the dress!!

Thanks! I suppose it makes sense but I just wanted to be sure…
