I’d like to say mine’s a bit off beat and unusual! πŸ™‚

I remember seeing a bride in a black dress and she pulled it off so well!  I’m not going to lie, I was a little confused at first because I had never heard of it so I didn’t know if she was a bridesmaid or not.  BUT, she pulled it off and she looked BEAUTIFUL.  Now, you want pink and I think you can summon some inspiration from our recent celebrity bride who wore pink:

I’m not sure how offbeat my dress is considered (as my mum put the screws on me to try to get me to wear white or ivory and this is a compromise) but I’m wearing gold, all my accessories are red and gold and I’m changing into a 1950s style skirt with the same bodice in the evening.

It’s based on Dita von Teese’s dress but in gold.

@actingdarling: I just have to say….I am not usually one who really appreciates non-traditional dresses, but this one is GORGEOUS on you!  You look absolutely stunning, congrats on the dress!

@blayne7: Thanks! There was a massive snafu with an Etsy seller that left me dress-less with only a couple of months to go, so I snagged one at a local department store. Talk about good luck. πŸ˜‰

@kiwime: Wow. So beautiful. I love that he’s holding your train. I’m going to remember that for our pictures.
