Personally, any type of anti-gay bumper sticker isn’t “opinion” to me, it’s bigotry. I have no tolerance for it and in this day and age I don’t feel that I should have to tolerate it.

I dont let stuff like that bother me. I think everyone is entitled to an their say sobeliefs but when you key a car or rip off their sticker; that is going to far in my opinion.
My husband is a IraqAfghanistan war veteran. Purple Heart receipient. His truck has the purple heart plates on it, a SUPPORT OUR TROOPS ribbon with his company logo on it, and a sticker on the windshield of his military job.
One day I came out of the grocery store and someone had wrote MURDERER Iraqi baby killer on his truck.
Did he deserve that? no way. I think THAT is offensive.
They could of kept their smartass dumb remarks to themselves!
Yeah… just because you don’t agree with their bumper sticker doesn’t give you the right to vandalize their car. Yes, you peeling their sticker off is vandalzing. That is immature, and pathedic and makes you as bad as them. I don’t care if you think it makes them the most ignorant bigot ever, you stooping to their level doesn’t make it any better.
I absolutely believe that bigots hide behind freedom of speech but if murderers and rapists become free men and women because of legal technicalities then nothing shocks me! Regarding bumper sticks eh I think theyre a lil stupid, no offense, I think it limits your individuality esp in others eyes
I learned never to put a bumper sticker on my car after my car was vandalized and my sticker was removed. And what was my sticker? A Duke University basketball decal. Tarheels fans in NC are cray….
I had a “fake” support ribbon similar to this one on my car:

A woman came up to me and told me how offensive it was to her. Uptight bitch had no sense of humor. Eventually, it was stolen off my car… I like to think it was by someone who loved it as much as I did.
I am not a fan of bumper stickers, especially not for controversial political topics. I much prefer respectful dialogue. That said, I think it’s pretty disappointing that people would judge someone to be a “bitch” and even suggest that it is ok for others to vandalize property simply because they have a bumper sticker supporting a political view they disagree with. Particularly when it is a view shared by 45% of the population, including the current President of the U.S.
I’m always amazed at people’s need to drive around with their “Gay=Sin” bigot views right out in the open, but I’ll still (begrudgingly) defend their right to do so. But they shouldn’t be all shocked when someone keys their car either.
Vandalizing someone’s car because they hold different viewpoints than you do is extremely immature and far more idiotic than any bumper sticker I’ve ever seen.
