Anyone doing a holiday office gift exchange this year? Tell us about it. Is it white elephant or secret santa? What are you buying and what’s the price limit. I’m sure many bees on here would appreciate the creative ideas.
Last year we did a white elephant with a $25 limit. I used a BB&B coupon to bring buy a little more but still only spend $25. I bought a cozy fleece blanket, a mug and a hot chocolate kit.
Not sure yet what I’m getting this year but I’m starting to eye some of our unwanted wedding gifts as possibilities. just kidding…

I’m curious for some ideas too because I have a few family Yankee Swaps to buy for at Christmas.

What’s white elephant?
We did secret Santa last year, although everyone knew who everyone had. I think I spent about £10 ($15) but I would have spent more had it been one of my friends (mean but true!) I just got him some novelty playing cards and a magic kit. He was the big-kid type of person.

When we were a department of 7 we would do a secret santa. Now that we’re a department of 3, it kinda defeats the purpose. We all do a little something for each other though. My go to gifts are normally found in the $1 section at target and I pair them with some homemade goodies that my Mother-In-Law and I make.

@Showers: i think this game has many different names. everyone brings a wrapped gift and people take turns unwrapping a gift. the person who goes first has to chose from the gift pile. The next person can either chose from the gift pile or steal the already opened gifts. and it goes on from there. the person who choses last has the best advantage.
