So, I wrote a little while ago about dress regret. I was starting to accept my dress and get over it. It wasn’t perfect, but it was the color and shape I wanted. It was the closest I could find to what I wanted, so I jumped on it. But lately I’ve just been hating how busy it is. And obsessively looking at dresses online. I hadn’t seen anything anywhere near my price range that I liked nearly as much, so I was slowly convincing myself that I made the right decision. Then, today, I found it. Luckily for my bank account, it is out of stock at Nordstrom’s. But there is no guarantee I won’t call every Nordstrom’s in New England tomorrow to look for it. Actually, I think it’s guaranteed that I will. (The dresses look different colors, by they’re actually the same)

I think the first dress is great, but I like the second one too. Can you really afford to have both? You might have trouble reselling the first one just because its nontraditional.
Also keep in mind the flare is at a different point on the leg in each dress. When I was shopping I found that ones that hit higher were more flattering on me than ones that hit lower. So make sure you try it on and don’t order it online.

I agree with PP. I think your current dress is beautiful.
It’s tough when you’re in the midst of planning and you keep looking at dresses. It’s hard not to have regret, especially if you can’t try on your dress at any given moment and reinforce why you loved it to begin with.
But there is usually a connection and a reason why you loved it so much, and you shouldn’t forget that.

I like your original dress. I don’t think it’s very busy, and it’s unique! The Nordstrom’s dress sort of looks like a lot of other dresses out there.

Your first dress is simply stunning, the second one is nice also but not as ‘bridal’ looking to me.
I think if you are able to find a store that you are able to try the new one on it might help you to know for sure is you made the right choice the first time or you really do want to change it.

I like the first dress so much better.

both I love. Do you have pics you wear in? Maybe more easy for us to say good or not coz everybody is different in the same dress.

I very much prefer your original dress.

I think your first dress is much nicer and more unique. I really do love it. The second dress reminds me of a dress you could wear to any other occasion, as long as it wasn’t in white. Stick with the first one, it’s really gorgeous and you probably bought it because it looks great on you. The second one might not even look the same!

I remember the picture of you in that first dress and think you would be crazy not to wear it. It’s so much more original than the second dress, now stop looking 🙂

I know I shouldn’t say anything… but I like the second one better. It is more classic, while the first one is more unique?? I would only get the new one if you can A) afford it or B) sell the first one with NO problems!!! AND MOst importantly C) You try on the new dress, love it, sleep on it for a few days, and still not change your mind.
My mother is an avid “sleep on it” person. She made me “sleep on it” before I purchased my gown.

I LOVE your first dress. No offense, but I think the second one is kind of ugly…. just a personal taste thing…

Honestly, seriously, very honestly, I really think the first dress is gorgeous and that you looked stunning in it! And I loved it paired with your red accessories. It should say a lot that I remember your picture well enough to remember you had red accessories. Please keep your first dress!

I have seen the picture of you in the first dress and seriously, you are stunning! Like, do not even consider another dress because nothing is going to beat you in that dress. I think you nailed it hands down with the first one.
