At this point i was in my little room in the temple, nervous as hell. I could hear the music playing. Then there was knock on my door, it was my brother ready to walk me down the isle. (It is tradition for your brothers to walk you down the isle). I gripped his hand and tears flooded from my eyes. My neice, my flower girl, walked infront of me.
My neice carried our flower garlands. Fun Fact: The person who was to make my garlands did a horrendous job and they were unusable. My sisters bestfriend had to steal flowers from peoples gardens and make the garlands 2 hours before the ceremony.
My brother walked me down the isle.
Then it was time for the wedding rituals. My groom and i put the last minute flower garlands on each other, we walked around a fire 7 times to symbolise us finding eachother in all of our 7 lives.
The ceremony was about 45 minutes in total. Directly behind my venue is an international runway, this was intentional as my husband is an airline pilot. During the ceremony, aircraft were occasionally landing and taking off in the background.
