For our August wedding we have a few “unofficial” wedding favors. We will be serving premade signature drinks in decorated mason jars… as our “open” bar for the remainder of the night is beer and wine only. We also will have cutstom “To have and to hold and to keep your beer cold” koozies at the bar. And last we will have a photoboot with a custom design and take home photos!!!
For our table assignemnts I planned to have a cute small burlap bag with mints (in our wedding color) for after dinner, attached to these bags will be a tag with name and table number on it! They will be on a table near the sign in for guests to pick up as they walk in!!
So my question is… with all of these “unofficial” favors, is it appropriate to have the name card be for each couple (or singular if a date is not with them)? And to add two mints for them to enjoy after dinner to the burlap bag?!? Or should each guest have their own bag with name tag tied to it?
My Fiance thinks is appropriate to address the guests as their invitations were sent… I think it would be a nice touch for each person to have their own. However, our budget would probably favor Fiance 🙂
At a wedding we went to a few months ago we were on the same name card that assigned our seats. I didn’t really think positively or negatively about it so I just wanted some other opinions!
