So…you’ve been helping me every step of the way with this crazy dress situation of mine! I’ve been going through months and MONTHS of dress regret. I’m so happy to say that it’s finally OVER.
After the complete mixed opinions on Jenna vs Essense, and reminded myself of my Mum’s unhappiness for the Jenna gown, and my unhappiness for the Essense gown, I ultimately decided that neither gown was THE dress. I mean, I would KNOW, without looking back, if I had THE dress.
So, Mum and I went out today to an entirely new bridal boutique to figure out our situation. I told her that I had a completely new idea for a dress style in mind, and she was thankfully open to opinions.
And then it happened.
I came across…her. THE dress. MY dress. THE ONE. I tried it on, I CRIED, my Mum cried, and we both just KNEW. And it was literally perfect…a perfect fit, perfect size – we BOUGHT THE FLOOR MODEL right then and there! It needs minimal alterations, if any. It was just…perfect.
This dress is so appropriate for my fall wedding and my venue – not to mention fits my “Country Romance” theme PERFECTLY. Why the heck wouldn’t I have thought of this earlier? Beautiful lace and tulle ivory coloured gown. Duh!
Anyway. Here she is.
(Of course I forgot my camera, so crappy cell phone photos will have to do for now)
The beautiful lace jacket comes with it, but we will be turning the sleeves into little cap sleeves to “youthen” the look:

I’m in LOVE with the back:
Well! That’s it for me Bees! It’s done! It’s purchased! It’s THE ONE.
Thank you all again so much for all your HONEST opinions – they honestly have all led me to finding this dress and making this decision! Essense & Jenna are GORGEOUS dresses – just not the right fit for both my venue and my self.
Thanks again… 🙂
Better pics to come later I’m sure! I’m in LOVE with this dress.
