I’m kind of new at this too, but I will say that I LOVE fertilityfriend.com. It has tutorials and you get VIP access free for 40 days! It’s really helped me learn about my body. And I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage 🙁 My heart goes out to anybody suffering that kind of a loss. I can’t even imagine.

Be sure to check out the stickied thread at the top of the babies board that is for Charting.  Though it says TTC, I would imagine any charters are welcome.  With that said, I liked Fertility Friend myself.

@MrsStrawberry24: Like Pelikila said, come check out the charting thread.

It is mainly for TTC but ALL charters are welcome!

I have been charting since Jan 2005.   I love the book Taking Charge of your Fertility and the site ovusoft.com  I bought their charting software years ago and still love it.  The money was cheaper than a pack of pills at the time!

It takes a good 3 months to sort out what is going on with your body.  I’m TTC now and actually know exactly when I am fertile, even without taking my temp.  It’s amazing.

Amazing that you have been abstaining for so long!

This is my first cycle TTC.   I’m 4dpo, so will be testing in a week.   It will be interesting to see if you ovulation is delayed (my guess) or if you luteal phase is short (less than 10 days.)   I found that vitamin B complex made my cycle a better length.

I did start taking the B-complex before I was TTC, and am now taking women’s vitamins with extra folic acid.   Pre-natals always make me sick and since my iron stores are high, my Dr just wants me on regular vitamins.

I’m starting to get some signs that make me think I actually could be pregnant.   Crazy!

I just started taking B-complex in addition to my folic acid and regular multi……I’ve learned a lot from the hive!

@MapleBecky: Pre-natals give me a belly ache too, and WOAH to having signs !

I tinkered with charting before the wedding, but with all the wedding stress i stopped.  I’ll be starting again next cycle.
