We’ve had one whirlwhind of a Febuary! Fiance was in Haiti for a mission trip the first week, came home and propsed on Feb. 10 with surpise family visiting, then Feb. 21 and 22 I ran in the Disney Princess Glass Slipper Challenge, completeing a 10k and half marathon in two days! After the 10k I drove out with a friend to Daytona/Port Orange to check out our “dream” venue.
I took a few days off from work to recover from my runs and got a rare day off with Fiance and we trecked back out to the venue with a date in mind. I took him around the property beaming the entire time and we decided that the first place we looked at is it.
Once in the office they confirmed May 2 was open and bam! We have a date and a venue and I am beyond exctied!! Here’s just a few pictures to show you how I fell for the venue so quickly!
These were all taken at the Open House so maybe not the best representation but to give you an idea. It is an Estate and we will have exclusive use of the property!
The little white chaple where my dad will walk me down the aisle to marry the love of my life!
Snow White’s cottage gardens where we’ll have cocktail hour. (Don’t mind my goofy pose and face, my friend that was with me made me take it, but you can tell I’m just a little excited!)
The Tavern where the reception will be.

OMG that is a BEAUTIFUL venue! Its so romantic, and I love that all of it can be in one location without having to flip a room, etc. I especially love the cocktail hour location; I am a sucker for water and gardens.
And OAN, I want to run the Princess Glass Slipper Challenge so bad!!! My first Honeymoon is in April, and my ultimate goal is to run that Challenge next Feb. You rock!!! Big props for fitting in wedding planning between runs!
