That woman photobombing is my officiant’s gf.  She was at our rehearsal which I was fine with, and I even would’ve been fine with her at the ceremony had she not sat in front and photobombed one of the only pics I have of my brother walking my mom down the aisle….

In your situation, with such a small guestlist, I think it is entirely inappropriate.  Just send an email expressing your concerns.  It will bother you day of otherwise.

kb7:  Oh what a pain ! What did she think she was doing!  I am with all the pp’s’  who find it very odd indeed to have (unknown) spouses of officiants etc at  weddings  in any case, but sitting  up front, dressed up like a guest ( tho maybe worse iff she has been in a baseball cap and shorts !)  and being in the way of the real photographer……    Really !

I think it’s a bit of an imposition. We had a very intimate wedding and there was barely enough seating for my invited guests, so I understand an univited person can cause additional stress when space is already limited.

muguet:  I said JoP because the OP said he’s a JoP (she even spelled it out in full words).

elderbee:  yeah it was pretty bad.  Luckily I didn’t notice until I saw the pic… But it’s like uhh thanks for photo bombing.  Good thing I’m a photoshop wiz and can make her disappear if I want to 🙂
