I finally started making pieces for our centerpiece collection. I was going for a vintagy/girly look, i will be putting a cluster of 1 tall “vase” with a small lace candle holder and a larger size mason jar (not pictured) also decorated with some form of lace/pearls. We will have white floor length table clothes with either a black & white polka dot runner or table square underneath the centerpieces. Here is my unfinished progress so far (i was too excited not to share!) haha
I will update this thread as i make more progress so you can see the finished centerpieces! : )

Oh wow- when I saw this subject title I couldn’t click on it fast enough. We are literally doing the exact same thing for our centerpieces for our June 2, 2012 wedding! Using a green wine bottle with babys breath, a small mason jar w/ floating candle, and a large mason jar with hydrangeas. I’ve been debating whether or not to paint the wine bottles white.. I love the silver of your liquor bottles, you’re off to a great start! Looks beautiful so far 🙂

THANKS, now I am going to have to check with a local bar and see if they will save/donate to me the empty bottles for a couple of weekends, I really like this idea.

Those look great! I’m thinking of doing lace and twine on mason jars – might have to incorporate liquor bottles too! So gorgeous!
