I can understand that you must feel bad. But I would never loan something that I was really attached to. Maybe they won’t think it’s a big deal. Obviously offer to replace it, but stressing out won’t help anything. It’ll be okay!!!

I would offer to replace it/give them the money! Just appologise and I’m sure it won’t be a big deal!
They lent it to you! If they were obsessive about keeping it, I don’t think they would have done that!

@newname_99: Finding out that also your top layer went missing… thats sentimental too for you, so I would definitely put some pressure on the venue. Maybe this thing is happening a lot there. It’s not right that those things went missing and I would definitely address it.
