@Mrs Christopher:  I totally plan on sitting around in my dress after the wedding. Maid/Matron of Honor already have plans to play dress up. Yes, we’re 8.

@Ms. Martian:  Lol I would totally do this but the dress is my mom’s so I think I’d be too nervous…  Maybe I could rent one or get one from Salvation army! I know someone got hers there, the wedding got called off and so she turned it into her zombie costume later.

Heh, I can picture it now. A huge bee convention that we all attend in our wedding dresses!  Actually….that doesn’t sound to bad either.

This is awesome! LOL I have one! So originally I had bought a really cheap tiara from Michaels crafts, just to wear when I tried on dresses because I didn’t want to fall in love with one at the bridal shop and have to pay tons of money for it. (I knew I was going to order mine online after I picked my dress) So I have sicne bought my tiara online and it is tucked away…but I still prance around with the Michaels craft $5.00 tiara on in my house. LOL my fiance thinks I’m nuts. It’s on my dresser, so on days off I roll out of bed-plop it on and float into the kitchen for coffee and breakfast. LOL I put it on with bed head, and it looks great with jammies. The first couple of times my fiance made comments but now he just says “Still going with the tiara and PJ’s huh?” lol

@Broken Biscuit:  Damn it!  You got that song stuck in my head now, from the moment I read the title! Arrggghhh! lol  I forgive you though Laughing

I haven’t done anything like that yet, but I think it’s because I’m waiting to buy things ’til I get to London in a couple months.  I have my dress, veil, and shoes, but I’m afraid to wear them for fear of smudging them or something lol  I’ll probably start doing things like this once I get to London and start on my DIY projects though.  I figure there’s no point starting them now since the cost of packing them up nicely and shipping them 6000 miles away would make them so expensive it would defeat the purpose of DIY in the first place. 😛
