Anyone every had luck contacting Etsy about a disagreement?
The situation is, I ordered something off Etsy to be used as a centerpiece. When it arrived, I was so disappointed. It looked nothing like the online image, it was a gross color, it was wrinkled (this is a photo btw not supposed to be wrinkled) and just in really shit shape.
I left very polite neutral feedback, not negative. I have sold on Ebay for many years and honest feedback is important to me. This seller had prior negative feedback but I decided to take a chance on the item because I loved it.
If the seller had nothing but glowing feedback and I was the one blip I probably would have been more likely to contact her instead, but I would actually “buyer beware” for others than go through a return.
She left me (the buyer) scathing negative feedback, which since I don’t have much history on Etsy, completely screws my feedback score. I paid for my item immediately and didn’t otherwise have any interaction with her.She is simply upset that I left neutral feedback.
I’m kind of thinking at this point I want to change her feedback to negative and be done with it. I was more than charitable in leaving neutral, but now I’d rather just people know she is shady. If you’re going to tell me I’m just being petty, I’ve considered that, but I don’t like seeing people get away with misrepresenting items people are paying good money for, when wedding budgets are already tight.
Anyone ever been able to edit their feedback with Etsy’s permission?
