I almost over slept for work today, too! It’s Friday, so that was a little motivation… but ugh. Still!

I hate Fridays for this very reason. SO didn’t want to me to get out of bed this morning and I almost agreed to stay home. Bed was such a wonderful place.

The winter days make me want to stay all warm and cozy in my bed even more!

I too wanted to stay in bed. Fiance got up late so that totally threw off my schedule. Frown

@Nona99:  I would have killed him. END.OF.STORY. lol I agree with you though. My daughter stayed at my parents house last night and it felt good to sleep an extra hour but then I had to wake up and come into work. Boooo!

I slept in and was outrageously late this morning. I thought it was Saturday and turned off my alarm.

Oh my goodness, I would not respond well to that kind of wake up call.

I reaallly didn’t want to get out of bed either. All I want is to sleep right now…

Darling Husband wakes up before me, and he usually turns off the baby monitor when he wakes up so I can snooze a bit longer.  This morning, he forgot, so while Dirty Delete was chattering away happily and laughing in her crib, her room is right next to ours so it just kept echoing. I was trying to sleep through it, but it was making me cranky.

When he finally came to wake me up, he slid in next to me, put his arm around my waist and greeted me with a cheery and LOUD “Good morning, baby!”

I growled “WHAT” at him in a voice that sounded straight from a someone-has-been-posessed horror movie.  And yeah, in that second, i thought about it too.

At least it’s Friday!  Whoever invented this getting-up-early-for-work-crap in the first place, lol.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

@missmorganista:  I definitely overslept. Darling Husband had to say “It’s 7:30am” before I rushed out of bed ๐Ÿ™ Worst part of the day imo

@strawbs:  I guess I should clarify that I techincally did oversleep, just not enough to be late for work. ๐Ÿ™ I had to leave for work by 6:35 and I woke up at 6:20. -_____-; It’s a good thing we have a “uniform” of white shirts and black pants, or else I would have been screwed! haha! I hate oversleeping. ๐Ÿ™

I never want to wake up before 9 am.  Unfortunately, that’s when we have to be at work.  Now that it is starting to get cold, I really don’t want to get out of bed.
