Well I have almost a whole year before the big day. The best advice I can give is to just be present in the moment and be calm. You have no do-overs for the big day so if you let the little things bother you it will get in the way of the happiness of the day. If little (or big) things go wrong, try to let it slide and remember that it will all work out. I am a control freak too so i understand where you are coming from. Just be as calm and peaceful as possible. Focus on you and the one that you are marrying, nothing else is as important. Congratulations!

Oh honey, I know exactly how you feel right now! I was the exact same way when I got married. I couldn’t wait for it to be overwith!! Your honeymoon is going to be the most amazing vacation you’ll ever take.
A word of advice – things are going to go wrong. The only person who is going to notice is probably you and your mom. Don’t stress out about the little things. If a bridesmaid is late for her hari, totally her issue. Don’t let that stress you out! Either way, you’re going to be marrying the man of your dreams on Saturday! And after that, you’re going on your HONEYMOON! I think back to my honeymoon as the most relaxing and happiest time of my life. It’s amazing.
Good luck this weekend, and try not to stress out! Enjoy your new husband and congratulations!!!

So exciting! I hope the weather isn’t bad! It rained the entire week up to my wedding and the day of was fine! It’s completely normal to be worried especially since you like to be in control. Try not to worry, it will all work out!

MY mom always said Rain make the knot tighter! 🙂 Relax, breathe, go with the flow, do what you can, breathe, enjoy YOUR day-you will be married by the end of it 🙂 ENJOY IT, whatever happens! If you are worried someone will show up late, then tell them to show 1/2 hour earlier. Best Wishes! 🙂

I’m getting married on Saturday, so I’m just one day less freaked out than you! 🙂

I’m getting married on Saturday and OH MAN did I wake up with a nervous stomach today. I have been basically fine up until now, but this morning was the turning point apparently. Our weather is supposed to suck here too, its actually pouring rain out right now and about 40 degrees…IN MAY. Needless to say I’m a little bitter about that, since it’s normally 80 degrees and beautiful this time of year. Regardless, all of my out of town guests are making it here just fine today, and everything else seems to be coming together perfectly…the only thing stressing me out to the max is my mom, who is stressing worse than anyone. She feels nothing has gotten done, and everything is going to fall apart on Saturday, hard to believe the bride and groom are more relaxed than she is!
Main point: I’m stressing too darlin, and I have 2 days left! But the main thing keeping me going is knowing that in 3 days, it’s just my husband and I for 2 weeks 🙂

Oh man I hate to admit this, but I think I stole all the beautiful weather. It’s been 80 and sunny for the whole past week (which is incredible weather for May in Wisconsin). I’m so sorry for hogging all the good weather! I’m sending some of it your way right now…
Good luck hun! Just click your red heels together and repeat “there’s no place like my honeymoon, there’s no place like my honeymoon…”
