Is your cycle usually 28 days?  If so, I wouldn’t be too worried but you did ovulate late in the cycle.  Is that usual for you?

I’m confused, too. Why are you worried? If you were pregnant, your BBT would stay elevated, not go down (although it’s too soon to tell anyway).

I completely understand the freakout, trust me. ๐Ÿ™‚  Charting takes a while to get used to. I wouldn’t worry if you are trying to avoid. It looks like this is only your second cycle off BC, right? Your temps are a little all over the place and your cycle will take a while to adjust. Today’s dip doesn’t look way outside the norm to me.

@Miss Snowflake: I was on BC for 10 years, so I totally relate. ๐Ÿ™‚

It took a few cycles of charting before I could see a clear temperature shift and ovulation pattern, and understand what affected my BBT (like staying up late, sleeping in, or drinking). Now things are easier to read and understand.

Although I also keep a pack of cheapie pregnancy tests in my bathroom for freakout moments. ๐Ÿ™‚

Are you doing anything else besides temping? Like using OPK or doing CM checks? I would not worry about it too much, besides comparing your two charts, you had the same dip at the end of your previous cycle. Are you temping correctly as well?

Sometimes you can have a secondary estrogen surge, which causes you temp to go back down for a day. This happened to me last month on my 4th DPO. I think 6DPO is still a little early for implantation? I’m no expert.

Also coming off of BC can do some crazy things to your cycle.
