Sometimes don’t you wish you could just pop someone upside the head? Really WHO says that stuff to someone?!

Lovely greeting.. you proved her wrong.

As for us, we get the “you’re just in your honeymoon stage, it won’t last.”  or “give it three months, it’ll frizzle out by then” I’m not sure what “it” was, but we definitely lasted and we’re still in love as ever.

Lame-sauce. She’s probably jealous. I was lucky, nothing like this happened to me. Well, except my ex-boyfriend who thought I was just making a huge mistake, and told me so, but since has decided that since I’m happy that’s all that matters.

WHAT?! I usually just got, “oh! You’re not married YET?” to which I also usually had no answer, besides “nope. still working on that”.

I would have just smiled and said “really, why?” or just said nothing at all… She could be sitting at home thinking why she said such a thing (I would be!).

On one hand it does sound like an odd thing to say, but on the other hand, you havent seen her for a year, so its not that wierd of a thing to say. Clearly shes not a close friend!
