Wonderful news! We are getting married in January 2013, and will not start TTC until August 2013, during our second vacation of the year, our first vacation is our honeymoon! We decided to give us some newly married time, plus we will be house hunting starting in March, so we really don’t want to much going on. I can’t wait to start trying, I’m 33, so I feel like its now or never!

Congrats ! When we found out my second line came so faint and it took a minute, for that minute I was so sad and depressed, then he’s like babe… There was a line just hard to see, then I was in disbelief. He was freakin out with being soexcited.

@Peach_Cobbler:  ‘Holy Shit’ was my first reaction too! I think I said it about a hundred times, haha. We had just started trying and were not anticipating getting a positive test right away.

I had to wait almost 14 hours to tell my husband thanks to opposite work schedules and a broken phone on my end…longest day of my life!

@Summer82:  Love it!! Such a cute story :). The day I set up a surprise for Darling Husband upstairs, he came home and literally talked my ear off about his day for 15 minutes! I had a camera set up and was afraid the battery was dead. I guess I wasn’t too subtle because after he said “I wondered why you were trying to get rid of me” lol. Congrats again!

CONGRATS!!!! You must be sooooo excited!

I never got to pee on a stick and wait nervously. I was in the hospital for something unrelated and they had to do a urine/blood test, the doctor came back and hour later saying nothing was wrong, oh and by the way you’re pregnant, and then left the room before I could freak out. I hadn’t even missed a period and I was on birth control, so it was news to me! They said I was one of the earliest detections they’d seen!

Congrats!  When I got a positive home pregnancy test with our first daughter, I came out of the bathroom crying and said “We’re going to have a baby.  I am pregnant!”  My husband said “Let me see” as if he didn’t believe me and then said “We have to clean the house” as if the baby was going to show up any moment. lol
