I had my ring cleaned today (it is so sparkly now!!!!) and the woman was like, “Just make sure you take it off before you go swimming, in pools and in the ocean!” and I was like, “WHAT??? Who in their right mind would go swimming with their ring on????? AND WHO WOULD GO IN THE OCEAN????” That ring slips off your finger in the ocean and it’s GONE. DONEZO.
Anyway! Have any brave bees swum with their rings on?

Lol I’ve gone swimming with it… Not in the ocean, though.
But I’ve never felt like it was in danger of falling off. I guess it depends on how you’ve got it sized?

You all make me so nervous! I take mine off when I clean dishes just in case it slips into the garbage disposal!!!!
Also mine is slightly loose.

Not in the ocean but in a private pool, sure. I’ve never had it come close to falling off but in the event that it did, it wouldn’t be too difficult to find.

Ooops lol. I swim with mine- pools and ocean. However I do have a thicker band that fits super tight to start with that I usually wear for these activities. A few minutes in the heat and my finger swells and there is no way its going anywhere

I swim with mine all the time in the ocean and in my pool. Have gone to the Caribbean twice and didn’t really give it a thought. It’s insured and my jeweler told me that I’m less likely to lose it the less I take it off! They also said they will fix anything that would happen to it. Wear it and enjoy it! All my friends tell me that having being married a couple years they really don’t give their e-ring much thought if they can even find it!

I’m worried mine will slip off when I have my hand out the window while driving…maybe I should get it resized!!!

I don’t take mine to the beach because I’m usually very active when I’m there and it’s a delicate design. If you have insurance though you should be ok! I never swim in a pool with mine because I’ve read chlorine is very damaging to the metal.

I swim with mine in the pool, but early on it slipped off and I had a scare, so I never swim in any natural water with it on.

Oh and they also said the water — the chemicals in a pool — can damage a ring.
When I take mine off, when I am not home (for rugby games and practice), I put it in the box it came in, and zip it into my purse. That way I know exactly where it is.

I have had a glamourous amount of time in the pool tanning on my days off and swimming with my sparkle. I love seeing my ice in the pool and the way it glitters in the sun. It looks magnificent in the water.
