I had a very petite asian roomate in college who would date some rather large men.  And the sounds were rather interesting and loud.

One catch for us was the style dorm rooms that have two beds on opposite sides of the room with a dresser inbetween.  The good old “pretend to be sleeping” sneaky sex maneuver, and his very gay roomate (who we thought was lights out) jokes at us, “well can I come over too and liven things up a little?”

Later that year, that same roomate found a toy in FI’s computer desk drawer.  I think he tried to lie and say it was for a larp game or something.  But really.  Yeah.

Oh my gosh this thread is cracking me up!!

Okay, so we haven’t had any of these moments (ahem, yet…), because we do little more than make out.

But I was on the awkward-unintentional-eavesdropper side of this, with the worst person ever: my mother!  She got re-married when I was in my young teens, just when I was beginning to “explore” and figure out…video games. 😉

My room shared a wall with the master bedroom in our house, and since I was the oldest of the kids, I stayed up later than everyone else.  The first time I heard them, I didn’t know what Video Games sounded like, and I thought she was having an asthma attack!  I told my Grandmother the next day, “Man…I was really worried last night, I think Mom had an asthma attack.”  My Grandmother gives a knowing smirk, and then it clicks and I yelp “OH EEW! NO!”  Apparently my Grandmother told my Mom of the noise leakage problem, because about two days later they bought me my own TV for my bedroom, noise-reducing headphones, and an entire television series on DVD.

Despite that, I still heard them…often…loudly.  Ugh.  Fortunately we moved shortly after that and my room was on a different level of the house.

After the wedding our townhouse is going to be in the same area as my family’s home, and we keep talking about how we are going to HAVE to remember to lock the doors, lest one of my FIVE siblings walks in on us playing video games on the kitchen table!

OMG too funny.  I totally know how you feel!

Years ago my fiance and I were “playing video games” on full volume.. in his studio apartment, and when we were done, I heard a tap at the door.. three of his friends were just outside the apartment door and had been listening for who knows how long.  I was mortified!  I guess it was nice of them to wait to knock, LOL:)

This happened to me with my ex. He had roomates – we came home from going out all night and we were drrruuunnkkk and did not care and never really thought about who would/could hear us. That was until the next morning the roomate said he enjoyed the “soundtrack” from last night! We all laughed! =)

Lmao I love these stories!!! This happened to us a few times with his family!! At his old house we would have to wait till his parents were gone and usually never went beyond making out but once it went a little far and I was playing with the joystick if you catch my drift lol and his parents saw us through the window!!!! I was beyond mortified!!! Another time his parents were on vacation and so we thought we could be as loud as we wanted and when we were done we realized my FIs Brother-In-Law had came by to feed the dog!!! I have a lot of stories… I swear we try to be careful but it is impossible to prevent lol

Nothing is worse than being walked in on by your grandma.

It still makes me cringe.

Actually wifey, I think I have you beat.

I was like twelve at my grandparent’s 50’s anniversary.  I was on a cot in their bedroom since like everyone was staying in their house.

Let’s just say I wasn’t asleep when they decided to start playing videogames.

Boyfriend or Best Friend and I were staying at my parents’ house recently when my dad walked in on us. All he said was “Uh oh!” and turned around and walked back out. To this day we can’t here anybody say “Uh oh!” without cracking a smile.

AHAHAHA! I love it! My college roommate and her the Boyfriend or Best Friend had a full video game session on full volume complete with bed frame on wall smashing, and they didn’t know I was there. Let’s just say walking up the stairs to the kitchen and saying “so how was it?” and giggling with my roommate until her Boyfriend or Best Friend walked in, turned white and walked out was awesome!

On another note, the couple on the other side of my bedroom wall in the condo next door have a regularly scheduled video game session every night at 11pm! I hear the knocking on the wall and giggle every time!

When I was dating my Fiance, we had a similar situation.   But we finished and I don’t think the roommate knew.  When I opened to door to go get a glass of water, HE WAS THERE TOUCHING HIMSELF listening through the door!!

@TXbee – OMGGGGGGGGG. Ew.

Ok, this is a hysterical thread!!!! Here’s mine…

After my sister’s wedding in September (where I drank WAYYYY too much), we were in our hotel room and decided to be intimate. Well,  I had NO inhibitions. I was screaming, Fiance kept telling me to keep it down but I didn’t care. Well, about 40 of my relatives (including my parents) were all in the same hotel, on the same floor. They all heard something going on so my cousin and her husband took off down the hall to investigate. Apparently, I yelled for him to ‘put it in my… (where it had never been)’ (this is so embarassing), and then ‘take it out’. They heard, and told everyone, including my parents once they figured it out it was us. We heard alll about it the next morning at brunch. Chalk one up to a healthy sex life???

hilarious…nice subtle door slam to notify you of his presence but then again, what did he expect?
