For everyone thats been following my “ring saga,” I’m so happy to announce that I will never ever have to post another “OMG I’M SO CONFUSED DO I WANT THIS RING?” post never ever again!
We went to the mall today… Mostly to go to Zales. Well we went there, they didnt have the ring I was really hoping to see, and nothing else really caught my eye there either.
Then we went to a smaller chain store (I cant even remember what it was called), the girl there was extremely helpful, and I ALMOST got a ring from there. But it was just a tad over our budget and I didnt want to be too hasty. Plus Alex was being moody and was not helping at all, so I was getting frustrated.
Then we went to LeRoy’s and I found a ring I thought was pretty…. But after standing there for 5 minutes and being completely ignored by the 4 workers standing around talking to eachother, we decided to go somewhere else.
We passed by Macy’s and on a whim I just decided to go in. Wasnt even looking for jewelry at first, I was sniffing perfumes. Then I just happened to walk over and BOOM. Right there was two rings that I fell in love with.
The first one was this one.
I loved it, but when the lady was telling us about it, she mentioned the diamonds on it. As some of you may know, Alex doesnt like diamonds. So anywho, as soon as she mentioned the diamonds, Alex said no.
Then he walked away to look at another counter, and I asked to see the other ring that I liked and told her to please leave out the diamond talk when I showed him this ring. And DING DING DING. He LOVED it! And I loved it! I couldnt quit staring, I walked around some more, but I kept coming back just to stare.
The plus side, its originally $600, but it was on sale for $287 and today happened to be the last day of the sale. I took that as a sign.
So I now pronounce to all you bee’s, my long awaited ring.
I forgot to take my camera, so I dont have a real life picture of it. And I had to get it resized, so I have to wait another week to get it. But its done and payed for! And its SOOO much prettier in real life. The amythest is a really light sorta pink purple, which I love.
It honestly looks almost just like this EidelPrecious ring I’ve been drooling over, but of course its emerald cut instead of cushion.
I’m so freaking happy! I was shaking from excitement when we were in the store. YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
