Well, here we are with five months to go until the wedding!! I am starting to get so excited, so I decided to try on my wedding gown. Guess what….I can’t zip the last two inches. Panick!!! So, after some deep breaths, I have decided to get my butt out of bed to work out Monday through Friday. I will try to zip it again in thirty days, and if it still won’t budge…..she is going to be let out in the boobies. I am not starving myself to lose the girls, but I am willing to lose a few pounds. lol Anyone else going through this insanity???

Is the rest of it tight? Did it fit before or has it just made it back from alterations… What kind of back is it? Maybe they could lower the zipline and redo the hem to accommodate your ladies…?

@OmigoshesGrrrl: It is a low back halter….I ordered it online in my size and it just arrived. The rest of the dress fits like a glove, but I was planning on losing around eight pounds before the wedding. So, all I can do is lose the eight pounds and go from there:)

The good news is you have plenty of time to loose this sensibly! If you act now you’ll be in it in no time!

@DiyBlondie: You’ve got time! Don’t worry! 🙂

That’s a REALLY easy fix… probably just uping your water intake will help. We tend to retain water when we’re dehydrated.
Drink half your weight in oz a day! =)
That really isn’t that much to have to shape/lose. You have PLENTY of time =)

Aww… thanks for the encouragement girls:) I am walking 20 minutes a day, toning with weights in the morning and watching carbs. I am sure it will fit in 30 days when I try it again….or else it can be let out a bit.

Try myfitnesspal to watch what you eat. You can still eat all your yummy foods as long as you keep under your calories.
Also try swimming. I have been doing swimming for the last 2 weeks and have noticed a HUGE difference in my body. I haven’t lost tons of weight but I have definitely gotten smaller.

I got my dress in March for our July wedding and it was tight. I’ve managed to lose 5lbs and tone up by using:
myfitnesspal.com- watching everything I eat and actually logging it.
Cutting out booze except for special occasions- Boo!!! Boo!!!
Exercising- I use to be a workout Queen prior to injuring myself. Thankfully my studio had a great deal so I’m back to going 3x/wk plus bike riding on the wkend.
Fitting my dress was the goal but I’m happy to lose the extra 5lbs.
