@v_smoothie:  Where are you doing your engagement shoot? Is it out in a field, in an urban area, etc.? 

I personally LOVE maxi dresses because they’re universally flattering. Just make sure you add a belt if there already isnt a cinched waist. Defined curves = perfection in photos.

Hmm, if you are more comfortable with how your body looks in dresses, by all means wear dresses. They’ll look lovely in your photos.

I’ve been told that solid colors look best, but I’ve seen some great patterned clothing in engagement photos, too.

I also have heard bringing one dressier option is always a good idea.
