So I just found out that my Maid/Matron of Honor (older sister) didn’t order her Bridesmaid or Best Man dress yet! Not a huge problem in itself, my wedding isn’t until May. BUT, I went on the JCrew website today to find that they’ve changed all their color swatches! They don’t have the color (mediterranean blue) anymore! ALL five of my other girls have bought their dress, including my OTHER Maid/Matron of Honor, my twin sister. And it’s too late for her to return her dress.
What should I do?? I love the look of girls in mismatched dresses with a simple “blue” theme, but they already bought all these dresses, and I hate to make them go through the pain of finding another.

JCrew won’t do returns after a period (I think 60 days?) but they will still exchange . . . what about getting your twin sis to exchange for another dress and your older still get the same – so the two MOH’s will just have slightly different dresses than the BMs? That is pretty common! I am in a wedding this summer and we are wearing short strapless dresses and the Maid/Matron of Honor is wearing a long gown with straps! It works! 🙂

Oh no that’s so annoying! Could you maybe just have the MOHs in different dresses, then only your twin sister would have to find a new dress… maybe try giving J.Crew a call too, they may have just taken the options off the website because they are discontinuing the line, but some stores may still have it in…

Definitely call them up – I bet they can find you one dress in a discontinued color even if it’s not on the website anymore. But do it ASAP!

Jcrew has great customer service. I would suggest that before you do anything, you call up their “wedding consultant” and see whether they might have any dresses in your color in stock. They might have something that just isn’t on their website.
If not, you could maybe try Ebay or Jcrew outlets and see what they have.

Ladies, you never steer me wrong! I called and sure enough, they have dresses in every size in that color! Thanks 🙂 Crisis averted!!
