Could you possibly call them and order it over the phone?

Can’t you just order the band from Canada? Shipping is easy enough.

I bought my ring from an independent artist, so I have to find a reputable jeweler to service mine. No big deal, I promise! People move and businesses change/go under all the time – and all our rings are still ok!

This happened to me too!!!!  We went to the Spence near Baybrook mall a couple weeks ago only to learn that they had been closed since the beginning of December-  So much for the wedding band that I had picked out last October 🙁

So, we went to go to Robbins Brothers (which opened up in the Galleria Spence store on Jan 24th) on Jan 29th.  It was PACKED.  So many people and you had to wait for someone to help you because you can’t try on all the rings like Spence.  We ended up just leaving because they had no list system in place and I didn’t think that we were ever going to be helped.

My Spence warranty is good for 5 years, so if something happens to it before then, I guess I’ll ship it off to Canada.  There is no way I am shipping it there for regular “servicing” though, my warranty does not require that.

In the end, I bought a beautiful wedding band from Blue Nile.

Haha!! Well I hope that works. Since you said you already had the rings picked out, maybe you can just do a phone order!

This exact thing happened to us as well. I was really excited to see that “matching” wedding band to my e-ring. I really think it’s bad customer service that we had to pay extra for the warranty but can’t use it, or even get reimbursed. I would rather pay the money to get it serviced in town, than pay the shipping to canada!
