I did what I was told not too…..I bought a dress but I continued to eye other dresses. I’ve had my dress since last March, when we bought it at a sample sale. At the time, it was my dream dress, the problem is that it’s a 12 and I wear a dress size 6 or 8 depending on the style. So of course I can’t get a true feel as to how I am going to even look in this dress after it’s altered.
So due to the wonderful bridal magezines, I saw a different dress and fell in love with it. My problem now is do I just keep my current dress or do I buy this other one? We are getting married in a church and our reception is in the backyard of my FI’s parents house, in a tent by their pond.
Please help me decide! Thanks!
Roma is the dress I own, Janica is the dress I have recently fallen in love with.

Do you have photos of you wearing either dress? It’s hard to make a decision without having seen the dresses on you specifically. I know dresses often look really different in those pics than they do on real brides.

They are both really beautiful. Personally I love Janica. Could you sell your Roma and use the money to help pay for a Janica?

Here is a pic of me in the Roma, this is the size 12. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pics with the Janica.

Both dresses are beautiful. You can’t go wrong with either.

I definatly would suggest trying this dress on before getting really worried about it. I feel hard for one I loved and was sure I was going to get after buying my dress. Them I drove 2 hours to try it on and was like “eh its ok, I mean its pretty but…”
I think both are beautiful dresses, Maggie is amazing!

I really like both gowns on you! You look stunning in the Roma and I have actually tried on the Janica and I fell in love with it too! You cant go wrong either way!

I think the one you have now looks great. I would talk with a seamstress and make sure it can actually be altered down that far.

They are both beautiful. I think it depends on what looks best on you. I’ve never been a fan of pickups, so I lean towards the other one, but that’s without seeing it on you!

thank you ladies! i’m going to try to get a pic of me in the janica from my mom because i know it’s easier to pick when you can actually see what they look like

I think the Roma will be perfect on you once it’s altered down to your size. I know it’s hard with such a big decision – I see dresses every day that I wish I could try on even though I found my dress months ago! But stop doubting yourself and go with your first purchase!
