I did pretty much the same thing, as far as picking the ring, ordering it etc. We had the conversation about getting married, both of us wanted to. We opened the ring after it arrived and I put it on. He said, does this mean we’re engaged?. I said, yeah.

I have taken it off a couple times and made him ask me officially. He thinks it’s funny.

Good luck, and cant wait to see a pic when you have it on your finger. How exciting!

How exciting!!!!!

Funny story, my husband bought my ring online (11 years ago before that was common). He had the package delivered to my parent’s house and paid for Saturday delivery. Well, they live in the sticks and UPS didn’t come. He had a proposal planned though, so he went through with it anyway without the ring. So he told me the ring would be delivered on Monday and I was planning to visit him the following weekend – we lived about 4 hours apart. He told me to just bring it with me…..UNOPENED!…..and he would put it on my finger. I was so distraught. I knew I’d never make it all week without opening that box. When I got home from work, there he was. Ready to put that ring on my finger.

All that to say, I hope you get your ring sooner than later! I know the waiting is agony!

My ring came while my fiancé was away working so I had to wait ten days to see it. Painful! I had my stand-in ring to keep my finger company, but I wanted to open it so badly! I’m glad I waited though 🙂

Can’t wait to see your ring! It sounds gorgeous.

You have amazing self control, I don’t what I’d do if I were in that situation! Probably for that reason, my SO is not divulging when he’s buying the ring or if he already bought it. Only that it’s coming soon!

Maybe bake some cookies or something? Get your mind off it…harder said than done though!

Wow, that’s so exciting. I’d probably have ripped the package open like an ape by now and then tried to fit it back together before Fiance got home haha. But you’re a better woman than me!
