What salon is this? I know a friend of mine had a problem with a salon in Gilbert.

Not the same one. I’m so sorry 🙁 You’re not being a bridezilla! I would be freaking out too!

The worst thing to do right now is flip out though…people are way more likely to help if you’re calm and reasonable to them.

If the dress is coming from anywhere other than the west coast, it’s highly likely that it’s had some shipping issues due to the crazy weather. I would just let it wait until Monday, and then try and get some real answers.

Good luck 🙁

Wow thats pretty bad. They should be  at least returning your calls with updates since its past the date it was supposed to arrive. Hopefully it arrives soon!!!

That stinks.  I do agree with napabridekelsey about how someone who is being nice will often get more cooperation.  But I can really see how you could feel anxious.  I would just keep calling like you are now and I would show up at their shop if they wouldn’t give me answers. You need time for alterations.  I hope it all works itself out.

I would show up at their store on Saturday… you always get better customer service in person than over the phone. It’s like peope don’t think you’re real over the phone (or at least the shop I got my bridesmaids’ dresses from). Ugh, I hope they get better at keeping you informed. I would lay it on them and try to get something free. 🙂 I LOVE getting free stuff when things go wrong.

I had a similar issue… I didn’t get my dress until ONE MONTH before the wedding and was really stressed b/c I wasn’t sure about the fit. Luckily it fit perfect and didn’t need alterations, but sheesh so stressful. I have told all my recently engaged friends to lie about their wedding dates (just push it forward like two weeks) so that they won’t have to deal with this aspect of dress shopping!
