revlon colorstay liquid for oily/combo skin or the entire coverfx line (unbelievable coverage that looks so so natural. expensive, but a tube of liquid lasted me over 6 months, you need so little.)

I use Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation which is a medium to full coverage (coverage is buildable) foundation and it makes my skin look flawless! It does contain SPF so if you are a darker complextion this might cause your face to appear lighter in photos but since my skin is pretty fair I don’t have this problem. I would love to post before and after photos to show you but I am horribly insecure about my skin without makeup do to 10+ years of acne (thankfully mostly gone now) that left me with very uneven, red skin. But you can google the name or YouTube and see the difference it makes!

ETA: it has a matte finish which helps keep your face from getting oily throughout the day

I love the Clinique Even better Makeup.  I have bad skin and it does wonders covering it up!

I also use ColorStay for day to day make up and bought Make up Forever HD foundation for the wedding and it was awesome.

@FutureMrsLadolcetta:  I went to Sephora and they helped me pick the right shade. I think they have a lenient return policy as well. I bought a kit that included the foundation, primer and finishing powder and my make-up still looked good after being in the Mexico heat all day. I did use oil blotting papers after the ceremony, but that’s it.

@FutureMrsLadolcetta:  it’s a fantastic makeup brand, it’s all water based so really good for your skin and all the products have incredible coverage. it was originally developed for people post laser or post burns, so it’s super soothing with amazing coverage.

i was turned on to it by my dermatologist, and it’s amazing 🙂

oh i should add that sephora carries coverfx so i’m sure you could go in and have a make up artist try the products on you.

I was very surprised at how wel Origins Brighter by Nature powder covered my acne. I thought I needed “full coverage” but that stuff is lightweight and covers everything!

My MAC liquid basically sits untouched unless I need some undereye touchups!

@FutureMrsLadolcetta:  if you want FULL full coverage, buy MAC. It started out as stage makeup, so it covers really well.

If you go to a MAC store, a makeup artist will help you try stuff on and make reccomendations

I have skin that sprouts acne if i even look at foundation. I was looking at MUFE after being disgusted with the airbrush quote I received (vendors in Montana can get away with murder because of the lack of competition) and asked a very talented makeup artist acquaintance about MUFE with acne prone oily skin… She relayed that it can cause breakouts and to try Urban Decay Naked Skin. I did and it is $39 (which is pretty standard for foundation) and is very build able and full coverage is easy to achieve. to put it into perspective… I got pore refining primer, de-slick, foundation, microfinishing powder (skip it… The 7$ drug store variety is much better), naked, naked 2, waterproof mascara, the naked bronzer kit (this is the best highlighter I’ve ever used),  and this was 50$ more than the airbrush quote. The foundation stays put all day as does their eyeshadow with a little primer potion underneath (I already knew this as I’m a palette junkie and own their eye pencils too).

the best part you can find 100000 YouTube videos with tutorials. Here is what I do:

1. Pore refining primer

2  de-slick

3.  Foundation

4. bronzer, highlighter, blush

5. De-slick

6. Finishing powder

7. All Nighter setting spray (also UD)

my test runs have lastEd 18 hours and once through an impromptu nap…

UD also has a very good return policy and sephora also carries it
