So, I posted a question earlier about a sweater I just bought and my fears about it being too busy were confirmed, so I have a new idea. I borrowed a sweater from my friend and I really like it, but I need some help. Below you’ll see a couple pics of me wearing it with a pair of boots. I don’t necessarily need to wear the boots in the picture, my sister has a really cute pair of camel-colored boots I want to try with it, but what do I wear on my legs? Wearing black boots is easy because I’d just wear black leggings, but I like the look of brown boot with the color of this sweater. Should I try it with a pair of skinny jeans or the new jeggings that are out there now? Tights? Leggings? I’m fashion challenged 🙂

I think skiiny jeans would look great with this. You could even do a black legging and I don’t think it would be bad.

Do a Jegging. Or if you wanted a more Dressed up look, do a black tight! You can still wear black and brown together! You could also belt the sweater, with a large brown stretch belt. Oh and you could try a colored long sleeve shirt underneath the sweater!

SUPER CUTE!!! I could see the black leggings with the brown boots. It’ll make the whole thing pop!

Imo–just say no to jeggings. I think actual skinny jeans would look great with this. A bit of structure in the outfit via the real jeans, with the soft sweater dress and slouchy boots, would really balance things. That would be a great outfit!

I’m a fan of jeggings if they aren’t legging material. I have a couple pairs of denim leggings that have nice structure for “jeggings” and look very nice. You have great legs and think you could really rock some jeggings! I’d go with a really dark pair, even skinny jeans would look great!
Something like this:
They still look like jeans, and the pull on top wouldn’t be noticable with the length of your sweater.
Or these are also really cute and cheap!

I bet this outift would look amazing with a belt around your waist! You have a really tiny waist and a belt would really pull the entire outfit together nicely, imo!
This is similar in style to the one you’re wearing:

You all are so great, thanks for all the ideas! I’m going to try it with the pair of dark skinny jeans I already have as well as my black leggings and go from there. I’m not sure about the jeans because they get bunchy at the knees, but we’ll see.
