So here is the deal:
I got engaged in june, shopped for and bought a Sottero and Midgley dress a month later and thought that was it. I tried not to cheat, and kept dress viewing to a minumum. Unfortunately, I began to have doubts anyway. the love I originally felt for it faded to like, then “eh”, then panic. So, I went back to try it on, because lets face it, I bought it. I found that i loved it again at the salon, but a couple days later after looking at it, I kept wondering why I picked such a plain dress, and frankly, I dont think the neckline does me any favors.
Then, the 2013 dresses came out. I happened to be on the site that has my dress, trying to come to terms with it, and happened to see a new Maggie Sottero that caused me heart to skip a beat! I fell madly in love with it. I lvoed how the neckline was a sweet heart, and i loved the 2 tiered skirt. And there was just enough sparkle.
Because I cannot really afford another new designer dress, and I might not even have enough time to, I thought that I would get a dress from Jasmines. I have heard nothing but great things about them I have a quote from them already and their dress would essentially cost what the alterations on the first one would… I would then sell the original dress to hopefully make some of the money back.
Am I making the right decision? Should I go ahead with as Jasmines Bridal replica, or find a way to make the other dress work? Attaced are the 2 dresses so you can see the differences. PLEASE HELP ME MAKE A DECISION

and lastly, the new dress modified to look ivoryish because I think that is how i would get it

Oooo add a poll!!! I love both of them but I think I like the second one a little bit more. How much would you be out if you switched?

I don’t know how to add a poll 🙁

You said that you’re having dress doubt because you’re worried your dress is too plain…but honestly, other than the two tiers (which isn’t really my style but that’s just me!), the second dress doesn’t look any less plain than the first one. And I actually really love the first one, especially the neckline! But you can always have it altered if you don’t. But I’d be hesitant to get a replica dress when you already own a gorgeous designer one, I have heard good things about Jasmine’s but from what I’ve seen theyr’e never really exactly the same, and the lace on your original will be higher quality. So while I totally understand dress regret (had it myself and I did end up buying another dress!), I think the two are so very similar that I wouldn’t trade your lovely designer dress for a replica.

When I was scrolling and I saw you in the first one I thought “THAT’S her dress. It looks like it was made for you and you rock it better than the model! If you love the sparkle and the neckline, I say add a sash and have them convert yours into a sweetheart!

I’m all for bees with dress regret changing their dresses, but that’s SO similar. And a Jasmines dress in the quality you’d want for the lace wouldn’t be as cheap as you’d probably think. And the details won’t show up nearly as well in ivory. I’d keep the original, and if you want to change, I’d go with something more substiantially different. The original looks so great on you.
