The clearblue digital were the only opk tests I had success with.  I tried every brand of nondigital and never got more than an almost positive.  The first month I used clearblue digital opk, I got a clear smiley positive, BD, and got pregnant (7 months pregnant now!!).  The nondigital tests just ended up causing me stress because it wasn’t clear that I was ovulating and I think in retrospect hindered me getting pregnant.  I would ignore the wondos.

atitagain :  It’s possible you haven’t gotten your “true” positive yet, and maybe they’re still on their way to getting darker.  It’s also very common to get 2-3 days of positives.  I usually get 2 days where they’re as dark/darker than the control line.  Ovulation will typically be 12-48 hrs after the LAST positive (if you get multiple positives).  I would keep testing about twice a day and I would consider the last dark one before they get lighter again to be your positive.  If you keep getting positives, you should keep BD at least every other day.  You’d hate to do all this work then miss it!  🙂

atitagain :  It takes a few months to really get the hang of Wondfos and how they work for you.  You’ll get to learn your pattern.  For me, the second line was almost non-existant til about a week before O, then they’d get progressively darker for a few days, then I had 2 days of a blazing obvious positive, then it immediately went back to nothing again.  But some people get almost no second line til it goes straight to positive, and some people don’t ever really get an obvious positive (kind of like yours), and some people say they just didn’t work for them, even though they’re charting and know they ovulate!  They can be a little confusing, but I really liked using them.  🙂

atitagain :  Good luck!  I found online that you can buy clear blue digital opks that aren’t the advanced.  They tend to a bit cheaper and the only differences is you either get a smiley or you don’t (no flashing smileys which I don’t find to be all that useful- plus the wondos will easily tell you that).  They work every bit as well.  After a few months you might notice a pattern- for example I always ovulate late, sometimes even requiring 2 kits if I start using them on the day they say, so after awhile I started a day or 2 laters, and it saved me a few tests (though you have to be a little conservative doing that because I found that even though my period was very regular, I didn’t ovulate on the same day of my cycle each month).

I tried temping and charting too… and that I found very stressful and not very helpful.  I really believe the easier you can make it on yourself the more likely you’ll get pregnant (sometimes easier said than done!).  The month I finally got pregnant was the month I was thinking about it the least, and the first month I thought it probably wasn’t the month (we only BDed 2X in my fertile window, and I was crazy busy- the BFN months we BDed a lot more and I was constantly thinking about it)- I hear similar stories sooo often!

atitagain :  The second to last one is positive and based on CM, it sounds like you ovulated. But you can’t know for sure without temping or ultrasound. Have you tried temping? You said you’ve been trying for years- have you seen a doctor?
