    @SandyThePoet:  WE’re using silk flowers too because of allergies. Who was the vendor you used? I’d love for some help in finding a good place to get the flowers from.

    We were quoted at about $4,500 for flowers…but I think that’s reasonable given that not only are we doing 10 high centerpieces, 6 bouquets, 10 boutonierres, 5 corsages (for the important ladiezzz), 5 additional flower arrangements (for gift table, sweetheart table, dinner stations, etc.) but they are also decorating an arbor for the wedding ceremony…oooch.

    @MerryWidow – those are AWESOME!

    We did DIY flowers. We got 100 peach and white bulk roses from Sam’s Club, lavender bouquets, boutineers (8), corsages (5), and stems (400) for centerpieces from a few sellers on Etsy, and three big bunches of babies breath from save-on-crafts.com. My grand total ended up being right around $340 or so. It was a lot of work but turned out well! 🙂

    We’ll spend about $700 overall… not bad for centerpieces for 30 or so tables, a bridal party of 5 on each side, and corsages for stepparents 🙂

    I get to squeak by at under 1,000 because my venue includes big fake centerpieces. Which is great because it gives you that ‘wow’ moment when you walk into the room and that’s all I’m really after. I don’t care what they think when they sit down and realize they aren’t real. 🙂

    I got a quote from my florist for $120!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  yes, $120.  I am having my bouquet, Maid/Matron of Honor, Bouts for Groom, Bridesmaid or Best Man and FOB, Crosage for MOB—no centerpieces or decorations because ceremony and reception are in same location and its already gorgeous the way it is with beautiful centerpieces.  I am getting white and yellow daisies and a few Gerbera Dasies—wanted this type of flower in my wedding since I was a little girl—lucky for me, they’re inexpensive!

    I got super lucky, my Aunt used to own a flower shop so she will be doing all of the flowers for the wedding. The centerpieces come witht he venue so I don’t have to worry about that. We need 7 bouquets, 12 boutineers and 3 corsages and we will be paying about $400 for the flowers.

    Southern California, well-known florist, simple grower’s tulips:

    $35/centerpiece (more focus on design than flower quantity)

    $75 bridal bouqet

    $75 delivery and set-up

    My total is under $1,000.  For what you are looking for, expect to spend between $1500-2000.

    We kept it right at $1000. 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 10 boutonierres, 3 wrist corsages, a toss bouquet, my bridal bouquet, 8 mason jars with flowers to hang on chairs down the ceremony aisle and large blooms to float in the pond at the garden entrance.

    Floral centerpieces were included in our reception site so that freed up some cash to allow me to splurge on my bridal bouquet of peonies billy balls and dusty miller.

    Flowers make such a statement on  your wedding day! However, when i was planning my good friend’s wedding not too long ago we opted for some centerpieces without flowers & did tall cylinders with floating candles etc etc. That way we cut down on flowers. So that might help you. I also helped with the flowers on another wedding and her wedding was about 75 people and did it for under $1000. Bouquets/centerpieces/bouts/etc really arent that hard to make if you do them yourself. I mean hey I just did this…this morning!!

    I spent under $100. I have terrible allergies and real flowers weren’t an option at all. I’ve ahd several people comment on why did I buy my flowers already, not being able to tell they’re fake until further inspection.
